In Gostyń, both the residents and the visitors can spend their free time in an active way, regardless of the time of year. This is thanks to the rich sports infrastructure as well as Gostyń’s topography, which is well-suited for sports activities.

Apart from the stadium and a number of football courts, the local sports complex also consists of an indoor pool that additionally houses fitness facilities. Hence swimming is not the only option there: one may also go to the gym, visit a spa clinic or sign up for dance and aerobics classes.

The skating rink enjoys great popularity in the winter, while in the summer it is converted into a tennis court. The paths and trails of the forest that surrounds the sports complex encourage a wide range of outdoor activities: cycling, jogging or nordic walking, just to name a few.

Few bowling alleys in Poland are as modern as Gostyń’s 6-lane bowling alley, where both national and international bowling championships take place. Every day the bowling alley is buzzing with activity. Many amateur bowlers play in a bowling league where competitions take place between teams that represent local companies.

The town has invested in new outdoor gyms and bike paths. Horse riding and related sports disciplines enjoy great popularity in the area. The bicycle has become the preffered mode of everyday commute among the residents.
